Youth Support Worker (term-time)

Term time only (36 weeks per year)

18.5 hours over 2.5 days per week to include Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning. (FTE: 0.4)

As a Youth Support Worker you will perform the duties of a first line Positive Intervention Team member. You will prepare for and deliver activities; recreational, educational and topic specific, as part of our Positive Intervention WRaP (Well-being, Relationship & Personal) programme. Contributing to the provision's quality assurance processes and maintaining a high level of communication at all times.

* You will have a JNC recognised Level 2 Youth Work qualification or equivalent. If not already held, you must be willing to complete and achieve the qualification.

* Evidence of previous work experience in youth support work.

* Experience of preparing and delivering activities for young people both 1:1 and in groups.
