Data Order Processor
Our client is recruiting for a Data and Order Processor for their offices on the outskirts of Newton Abbot
You will be involved with the daily processing of high volume post and telephone orders.
You will be energetic, well-organised and have the ability to work well under pressure in a busy and friendly open office environment.
An excellent telephone manner is essential, as well as accuracy in data inputting.
Main tasks will include;-
* Processing orders received on the telephone straight into our order processing system
* Processing orders received through the post
* Creating new customers in the in house database
* Updating customer details
* Customer invoicing
* Running communication software between our computer and the bank
* Running technical reports through our computer system
* Sending out stock lists
* Sending out catalogues to new customers
* General data entry
* General office duties
We require an energetic, well-organised person with initiative and an ability to work well under pressure in a busy and friendly open office environment.
Thorough training will be given for all tasks, but some experience with using computers will be necessary.
We use most of the Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel, as well as a bespoke order processing and stock management system.
A high degree of accuracy, good spelling, literacy and attention to detail are essential. It is also very important that candidates have a clear speaking voice, patience and an excellent telephone manner, as you will be dealing with the public by phone every day.
Hours are 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, with one hour for lunch.
Holidays: 20 days per year.
